Nearly 50,000 Americans could have found themselves without Internet access yesterday after the FBI took down temporary “clean” servers Monday that it had set up to make sure Internet users impacted by the malware called DNS Changer didn’t lose Web access.
However, Sword & Shield Security Analyst Jason Graf tells WBIR anchor Robin Wilhoit the impact of the malware appeared to be limited thanks to educational efforts by Internet service providers and others:
